The hotel is situated between St Marti and L'Escala, offering wonderful views and a comfortable bedroom right in front of a great beach. While the beach location is convenient, it can get crowded with non-hotel guests, making it a tad busy for those seeking tranquility.
The hotel felt like our own beachfront hideaway with a lovely terrace, though the room was a bit cramped for drying our beach gear. The location was outstanding with historical sites right next door, but the dining prices seemed high. Overall, a unique and pleasant stay.
I stayed at a Superior room in the garden view block of rooms at Spa-19, booked the ‘Romantic Escape' package, and enjoyed a simple sandwich picnic, an hour in the Spa, a double room with breakfast, a bottle of wine, and a 3-course meal in their Bistro. The experience had its charm, but there were some areas for improvement.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms had recently been refurbished and were very pleasant, although lacking a view. The seating was comfy, but some areas are starting to show a bit of wear. The service was top-notch, making my stay truly enjoyable. The location, while near the beautiful basilica of Fourviere, might not justify the higher price tag. Dining options were fantastic, although a bit overpriced. Overall, a great experience with a few minor hiccups.
I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The 'Romantic Escape' package I booked was definitely worth it, offering a simple sandwich picnic, a luxurious hour at the spa, a spacious double room with breakfast, a bottle of wine either in the room or at dinner, and a delicious 3-course meal at their Bistro. The breakfast room is hands down the nicest I've ever seen!
